Pancreatic

It is important to use medical centers, hospitals to be treated properly.  

As stated earlier, when pancreatic cancer is usually diagnosed in an advanced stage, so treatment depends on whether or not criteria of resectability and between which we have for example, that there is no distant metastasis , who has not committed to vascular structures or lymph nodes, usually to determine these factors are made with conventional CT studies or multiaxial.  

Another option is an exploratory laparoscopy when there are doubts resectability.  

If resectability criteria is usually done Whipple operation.

When the tumor is unresectable, palliative treatment is started, to improve the quality of life of patients.

Pancreatic cancer usually causes obstructive jaundice and palliative care is intended to improve jaundice for which there are several methods of biliary bypass, the choice of each method depends on the medical criteria and conditions of the patient, for example, one of the most used methods is the placement of a shunt catheter by percutaneous hepatic ducts to the common bile duct and to effect external drainage of bile.
